Allison is a Birth and Postpartum Doula that has a heart for unconditionally supporting mothers exactly where they are at. She values building a intimate relationship with her clients prenatally, knowing that trust and safety are the foundation for a positive atmosphere. Through the processing of fears and illustrating birth options she seeks to instill a confidence within each expecting mom and partner. Understanding the significance of one’s birth experience fuels her to encourage women with an abundance of joy. Allison was a nanny for many years and quickly became an expert in infant and child care. Her passion for families led her to expand her knowledge as a Postpartum Doula, to cater to parents welcoming a new baby home. Naturally warm and optimistic, Allison brings calm and clarity, while giving mothers the opportunity to rest and bond with their baby. She loves to focus on simple meal prep paired with the comfort of fresh baked goodies. She is particularly experienced with helping children ease into the transition of having a new sibling, making them feel connected, heard and special.
Allison was born and raised in Arizona but made Southern California her home to study Intercultural Studies & Development. She loves to travel and through all her experiences abroad, she has grown to love the diverse cultures and people (and food!) from across the world. Apart from being a doula, Allison loves to bake, rollerblade on the Venice boardwalk, and spend time with her family – especially her three nephews! Meet Allison at our Comfort Measures workshop held every other month!
