Afra is a Birth & Postpartum Doula, Parenting Educator, Blogger & MomPreneur based in Orange County. She is a mother of 3 and is a huge advocate for supporting women through their pregnancy journeys, birth and postpartum through motherhood.
Afra began her journey after experiencing an unsuccessful attempt to VBAC in 2015. She was known as the warrior patient in L&D because she did everything she could with her Doula to attempt that VBAC for over 50 hours. She started her blog in 2016 and after having her third baby with another unsuccessful VBA2C, she felt drawn to doing more for mothers. She knew that she didn’t want any new mom to go through what she had been through with her birth & postpartum experiences. She is very passionate about empowering women to have the births they desire and better more positive postpartum periods. She loves educating parents and sharing her knowledge with her community of followers. She is a baby wearing expert and also teachers our Baby Care Basics Course and is soon to embark on her Breastfeeding Educator Certification. She is the go-to person in her community for tips on what to purchase for the baby and takes the time out to help her friends create their registries for products they actually need (and not want or follow through standard baby registries)
During her down time she enjoys spending quality time with friends & family and loves Coffee Bean Chai Latte and working on her blog. She also loves night runs to Target!
